I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We booked exclusive venue hire for a corporate event in February 2024. The bedrooms were all great, very clean and comfortable, the food was fantastic, the facilities were very good but most importantly we must thank the staff. Every single member of the team at Gleddoch went above and beyond for us from start to finish. The attention to detail and the 'can do' attitude was to the highest standard and was levels above any other venue I have worked in, in over 10 years of event management. I want to pass on a special thanks to Pamela that made this event happen and couldn't have been any more helpful or lovely to work with. And to the Chef who served delicious food during our stay for the delegates and ensured our crew were catered for throughout. All of the bar staff and servers were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for anybody. Gleddoch is most definitely somewhere I'll be returning to for pleasure and I will be putting the venue forward to any of my clients for events in the future. Gleddoch as a resort and as a team is something that everyone involved should be incredibly proud of. Once again, thank you! 

Christmas & New Year

From beginning to end, the staff at Gleddoch couldn’t do enough for us. They went over and above and even though we did have some minor issues, they were dealt with quickly and professionally. We stayed over Hogmanay and joined the ball that took place that evening, what a special event managed fantastically. Well Done! The barman at the Dram bar deserves an additional thank you for his kindness and assistance in always finding the perfect drink! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Dinner at the Vista restaurant was excellent. Menu not over fussy or huge however quality and presentation of food on a busy Saturday night service exceeded our expectations. Service team Georgia and John warm, welcome and friendly, exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much, great experience, definitely recommend.

What can I say, another fantastic stay, absolutely faultless, George and his staff at front reception are just exceptional at what they do, Yonish runs the snug like clockwork and his attention to detail is outstanding, we have stayed in all the top hotels around Scotland and nothing compares to the service we receive at the Gleddoch, we have now booked to come back in January and February, it’s beginning to feel like a home from home, so Thankyou and well done on your World class service, hope you all had e a wonderful Xmas and we will see you again in January.

After being with family again on Boxing Day for dinner hosted by my mum, we all discussed our first Christmas dinner out with my mums house and we all had nothing discouraging to say, the staff we’re pleasant the food was good and warm, and varied from vegetarian and kids choices, the visit from Santa was great and the present wasn’t just old tat. All in all was very pleasant all round and would definitely recommend to anyone else looking to go out on Christmas Day.

Just wanted to say thank you to yourselves and all the staff for another fantastic Christmas stay.

Having stayed as a party of 3 last year we returned as a party of 7 this year and from my initial enquiry to the final run up yourself and the events team were extremely helpful which took any stress/worries away and made our stay a very relaxing experience. Both parties who joined us this year were also very impressed. 

Please pass on our thanks to ALL the staff who worked the Christmas shifts who again like yourself were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us all feel very welcome and relaxed.

We have been to the Gleddoch a few times and every time has been perfect , from the moment you walk through the main door till we left. This was no different for our wedding day the staff were attentive and truly amazing, also can't thank Kirsty Thompson enough through it all she has been more than amazing.

We stayed in the 4 poster suite in November and I have to say for the from the moment we arrived it was outstanding service. We had a night away the previous night and Gleddoch were able to accommodate an early check in. We had lunch in the bar area, then used to spa which wasn’t so busy around late lunch time and then, we had dinner booked for 7pm which was absolutely amazing, we felt very welcomed and very well looked after at dinner. We had a cheeseboard and hot chocolates ordered to our room. The whole experience was so relaxed, the room was so clean and the staff were very polite and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was buffet style and was all fresh and cooked brilliant. All in all I think myself and my partner will be back when the suites are available! Outstanding stay and even better service.

Rainbow Valley had another successful course at the lovely Gleddoch Hotel, and I wanted to again let you know how amazing your staff were, especially Nathan & Marie. The buffet ran really well and everyone loved the choices.

Our wedding day was perfect. Everything ran so smoothly which helped keep me stress free. The communication from Beverley on the morning was brilliant and really helped calm my nerves, she did a great job at keeping both Stephen and I in the loop on how things were going. Everything was set up exactly as we wanted and I couldn't have asked for any more from Beverley.

Had an another amazing stay here! The views from the hot tub are breathtaking! It’s not very far to get to just outside Glasgow but feels so secluded a fabulous wee getaway. The staff are so friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you. We had lunch and dinner and the food was fabulous. Our room was beautiful. The grounds and scenery are just unrivalled.

We had our wedding reception at Gleddoch on Wed 20th Sept 23. We cannot thank the staff here enough. Beverley the wedding coordinator was amazing from day one of planning always there to support us right up until the night before and the morning of the wedding helping the groom get ready to leave for church. We would like to thank Gordon too who was just brilliant as our MC. We had 11 children at our wedding which could have been crazy but the staff especially Gordon was outstanding with them, even driving them all around the golf course on the buggy ha ha ha. One of the kids even got a wage packet from Gordon for being a 'staff member' Nothing was too much hassle and all the staff were so attentive to every guest not just myself and my husband. All the family were catered for the next day too getting taken to the pool and breakfast by Gordon saving them walking. Honestly couldn't recommend Gleddoch enough.

The room was big and very comfortable and clean. The spa facilities were fabulous and the outdoor hot tub had amazing views of Dumbarton. We really enjoyed our night here and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Staff in general and particularly the restaurant staff who were very friendly and more than helpful. Enjoyed the large room with high ceiling plus the green environment immediately surrounding the hotel and the view from the restaurant.

Good hotel situated on the golf course. We had taken an upgrade to the Premier Room before we arrived so we had plenty of space in the room and a truly king size bed. Dinner and breakfast overlooking the golf course was very well maintained and good.

Great weekend away staff friendly and helpful and the deputy manager was great too and the staff at the reception first class would be back one day.

Once again absolutely outstanding overnight stay with the family. After our wedding here we fancied another trip. The spa, meal, room and breakfast fantastic. Once again thank you to all the staff and the lift in the golf buggy. Will back again soon.

EVERYTHING about this hotel is OUTSTANDING from the minute you step into the car park. I have stayed in many hotels but this one is by far top of my list. I have been going to this hotel for two years now on my visits to see family in Glasgow but always have amazing self care before my travels back to London. I would 100% give this hotel 10/10 every time. Thank you Gleddoch keep up the good work.

The hotel looks very nice outside, surrounded by green, the view of the river mouth is perfect. The outside jacuzzi is great plus! The restaurant is very well designed and the staff were professional and friendly.

Just back from overnight stay for my birthday my daughter treated me. This place is amazing I shall definitely return. Staff are amazing in particular Scott he is an absolute star made our stay so special thank you Scott for everything.

Just fantastic. Great in all areas! An insider tip is the bar with an enormous selection of whiskey and gin! The spa terrace offers fantastic views of Glasgow.

Venue - Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort - Kirsty was our planner and her and the full team at Gleddoch were amazing from start to finish. The venue was stunning and all the staff could not have been more accommodating to us, not just on the day of the wedding but from the very start of us planning our big day to half our guests checking in the day before as well.
