Q: Do I need to pay a deposit when booking Christmas or New Year festivities?

A: Yes, all festive bookings (e.g. Party Nights, Christmas Day Lunch, The Hogmanay Ball) require a £20pp deposit and all festive overnight stay bookings require a £50pp deposit.

Q: When is the full payment for festive bookings due?

A: The full balance for all festive bookings (including festive overnight stays) is due by Wednesday 1st November 2023.

Q: Is my deposit refundable or transferable?

A: No, all festive deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Q: How much is it to stay overnight on a Friday Party Night?

A: Prices for an B&B Classic King room stay on Friday 8th or Friday 15th December 2023 start from £120 (based on two people sharing).

Q: How much is it to stay overnight on a Saturday Party Night?

A: Prices for an B&B Classic King room stay on Saturday 9th or Saturday 16th December 2023 start from £150 (based on two people sharing).

Q: Where can I find all festive overnight stay package prices?

Q: Can I upgrade my room if I have booked a festive overnight package?

A: Yes, all our upgrade prices can be found in our festive brochure.

Q:  Where can I find all the festive menus?

A: All the menus can be found in our festive brochure.

Q: Do I have to submit a pre-order of my menu choices before I arrive for a festive meal?

A: Yes, we will need all your menu choices by 1st November 2023. 

Q: Do I need to let you know if I have any dietary requirements before I arrive?

A: Yes, we will need to know all your dietary requirements and allergies by 1st November 2023.

Q: How many people fit on one table at the Party Nights?

A: Our Party Night tables seat ten people.

Q: Will my family and I be seated together at the Christmas Day Lunch?

A: Yes, we do our very best to insure all booking parties are sat together.

Dietary Requirements:

A number of our dishes can be adapted to cater for your food allergies and dietary requirements. Please speak to your server who will be able to advise. Full allergy information for each dish is available upon request.

Meats:

All of our meats are cooked pink for maximum flavour and texture, please request if otherwise preferred. Please make your servers aware of any dietary requirements.

Allergy Disclaimer:

We can’t thank you enough for visiting and we welcome everyone into our hotel. Please remember to always inform us of any allergies or intolerances so we can employ additional controls when serving your food or drink. Please be aware that our food may contain or may have come into contact with common allergens, such as milk, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or gluten. We follow good hygiene practices at all times; however, whilst a dish may not identify a key allergen as an actual ingredient, due to the wide range of ingredients and preparation / cooking methods used within our kitchens, foods may be at risk of cross contamination by other ingredients.

A: Yes, the dress code is smart casual.

Q: Is there a dress code for Christmas Day Lunch and Boxing Day Dinner?

A: No, there is no formal dress code.

Q: Is there a dress code for The Hogmanay Ball?

A: Yes, the dress code is black tie or highland dress.

Q: Are children allowed at the Party Nights?

A: No, our Party Nights are adults (18+) only.

Q: Are children allowed at The Hogmanay Ball?

A: Yes, The Hogmanay Ball is family-friendly.

Q: What is the age limit on my child receiving a present from Santa at the Christmas Day Lunch?

A: 12 years old. If your child is older than 12 and you would like them to receive a gift, please contact our events team as soon as possible.

Q: What information do you require about my child if they are receiving a gift at the Christmas Day Lunch?

A: We will need to know the name, age and gender of each child receiving a gift.

Q: Is there a separate menu for children at the Christmas Day Lunch?

A: Yes, the Kids Lunch menu can be found in our festive brochure. 

PARTY NIGHTS

Q: What is the entertainment on the Party Nights?

A: All our Party Nights will have live entertainment from a DJ and saxophone player with a installed LED dancefloor.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Q: What is the entertainment on Christmas Eve?

A: Glasgow singer Hannah Cochrane will be performing live in our Vista restaurant between 7pm-11pm.

BOXING DAY DINNER

Q: What is the entertainment on Boxing Day?

A: Glasgow singer Hannah Cochrane will be performing live in our Vista restaurant between 7pm-10pm.

THE HOGMANAY BALL

Q: What is the entertainment at The Hogmanay Ball?

A: There will be live music from The Scoundrels, a saxophonist, fireworks and a piper.

NEW YEAR'S DAY

Q: What is the entertainment on New Year's Day?

A: Glasgow singer Judith Harron will be performing live in our Vista restaurant between 7pm-10pm.

PARTY NIGHTS

Q: What are the dates of your Party Nights?

A: Friday 8th, Saturday 9th, Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December 2023.

Q: What is the Party Night itinerary?

A: Arrival - 7pm. Sit down to dinner - 7:30pm prompt. DJ - 8:30pm. Saxophonist 10pm. Carriages - 1am.

Q: What time is Christmas Day Lunch served?

A: Christmas Day Lunch will be served at 2:30pm prompt on 25th December 2023.

BOXING DAY DINNER

Q: What time is Boxing Day Dinner served?

A: Boxing Day Dinner will be served at 6:30pm prompt on 26th December 2023.

THE HOGMANAY BALL

Q: What time does The Hogmanay Ball start?

A: The Hogmanay Ball will start at 6:30pm on 31st December 2023. You will be seated for dinner at 7pm prompt.
